Video: The Matrix Lobby Scene with an Unusual Soundtrack

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know that the only thing I love more than The Matrix and Matrix sunglasses is a funny video now and then.  As I continuously scour the web looking for stuff to write about, I am always on the lookout for unique videos.  I’ve previously shared videos depicting The Matrix characters as Muppets, a Matrix dance routine, what might happen if The Matrix ran on Windows XP, and even videos showing how to make Lady Gaga cigarette sunglasses and duct tape sunglasses!  Now, it’s time for something completely different.

A video was released a couple of weeks ago that shows The Matrix lobby shooting scene backed by an “A capella” soundtrack.  If you are not sure what “A capella” is, it simply refers to music without instrumental sound.  In other words, the music all originates from someone’s vocal chords, nothing else.  Check it out below.

The original song from the scene is called “Spybreak” by the Propellerheads, and the creator of the A capella version in this video stays relatively true to the original.  The bottom line is that I would highly recommend that you take a couple of minutes to watch the video (the video is literally 2 minutes and 13 seconds long).  This guy definitely has talent.  Apparently creating funny music videos is his niche, and it shows.  Enjoy!
