The 6 Rules of Celebrity Sunglasses

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, then you know that I like to share funny videos from time to time.  In the past I’ve shared such ‘how to’ videos as how to make duct tape sunglasses, how to make spy sunglasses, and how to make 3D sunglasses.  I’ve also shared some parodies like the Muppet Matrix, Family Guy meets The Matrix, and what might happen if The Matrix ran on Windows XP.

Well, it’s time to share another one with you.  It’s from a tabloid TV show (not sure which one) and it rattles off the 6 golden rules of celebrity sunglasses.  Yes, the rules apparently ARE different for celebs!  So for this post I’ll be summarizing these 6 rules, but I would encourage you watch the video as well, as it’s less than 2 minutes long and you’ll probably get a good chuckle out of it.

The first rule is that it is ok for celebrities to wear their sunglasses at the table while eating outside.  The second rule is that it is ok for celebs to wear their shades indoors.  The third rule is that it is ok for celebrities to wear their shades while flying (including inside the airport).  Rule #4 is that sunglasses at night are required.  The fifth rule applies to super models only: NEVER take your shades off no matter what!  Finally, rule #6 says that Hollywood couples must both wear their shades together at all times; in other words, if one partner is wearing them, then the other one must as well.

So, there you have it: the 6 rules for celebrity sunglasses!  Whether you wear Matrix Sunglasses or some other style, if you’re a celeb you’ll definitely want to keep these tips in mind.  After all, you don’t want to risk style irrelevance, right?
