Finding Replacement Lenses for Sunglasses Online

One of the trends I have seen recently is the emergence of players in the sunglass lens replacement niche.  It’s another example of how the Internet is breaking every industry down into smaller and smaller specialties.  In the case of replacement lens providers, the standard process is that you ship them your shades, they insert the replacement lenses, and then they ship the finished product back to you.  Obviously you will only want to consider this for expensive sunglasses, say $100 or more.

Many of these new companies offer a wide variety of specific lenses, including those that are polarized, transitional, and even prescription.  They also typically offer lenses for specific brands of sunglasses like Ray Ban, Prada, Oakley, and others.   All of this is of course good news, as you now have another option for extending the life of your expensive sunglasses.  The cost of replacement lenses is less than the cost of a whole new pair of shades so it’s a true win-win.

To find a company online that offers lens replacement, just do a simple Google search for “sunglasses lens replacement.”  Take a look at the price structures and service agreements for the listings that appear on the first page, make a selection, and place your order.  It’s that simple and you don’t even need to leave the house.

Please note that you probably will not want to go this route if you break the lenses on a pair of Matrix Sunglasses because our prices are extremely competitive.  Although I love my Neo Sunglasses, what we are talking about here is for sunglasses that you cannot find for less than $100.  If you have a pair that falls into this price range, the next time you break a lens this is definitely an option worth considering.
