Morpheus Sunglasses Back in Stock

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Well folks, it has been a long few months for us here at matrixeyewear.com, but at long last we have finally received our brand new inventory of the Morpheus Sunglasses.  And with stronger spring-loaded nose clips and enhanced UV protection, they are better than ever!  Our shop is now fully stocked with all your favorite Matrix sunglasses, including the Neo Sunglasses, Agent Smith Sunglasses, Trinity Sunglasses, Twins Sunglasses, and Seraph Sunglasses.

In retrospect, the closure of our former factory was actually a blessing in disguise.  Although it took a relatively long time to find a new supplier, our due diligence paid off.  Our Morpheus Sunglasses are now even better than before, yet the price has not increased.  Better quality for the same price equals a better value for your dollar, period.  Everybody wins!

Our new and improved Morpheus Sunglasses incorporate the best elements of our other Matrix sunglasses.  For example, the lens color is a dark shade of tempered black similar to the Agent Smith Sunglasses and Neo Sunglasses.  Additionally, the shape of the lens is similar to the Seraph Sunglasses, and the lens frames are equivalent in terms of durability and toughness to those of the Twins Sunglasses & Trinity Sunglasses.   In fact, all of our Matrix eyewear is top-notch and fully guaranteed.

But don’t just take our word for it, get yourself a pair and see for yourself.  You have nothing to lose with our unprecedented 1-year “no questions asked” warranty.  Additionally, all of our Morpheus Sunglasses come with a free hard-shell case, and as with all of our Matrix sunglasses you still get free shipping plus a third pair for free when you purchase any other 2 Matrix eyewear styles (the Neo Sunglasses – Reloaded style is the standard free pair).

It is always nice to be able to convey good news, and we here at Matrix Eyewear truly thank you for your patience and loyalty.  Whether you want the Agent Smith Sunglasses, Twins Sunglasses, Trinity Sunglasses, Seraph Sunglasses, or something else, matrixeyewear.com is your one-stop shop for all Matrix sunglasses.

Morpheus Sunglasses: Update on Availability

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

This is a follow-up to a previous post regarding the availability of the Morpheus Sunglasses, which have been out of stock for a few months now.

As you know, our Matrix Sunglasses are the highest quality available.  Whether it’s the Neo Sunglasses, Agent Smith Sunglasses, Trinity Sunglasses, Seraph Sunglasses, Twins Sunglasses, or something else, our primary goal is always top-notch quality.  This is great for our loyal customers, but can sometimes be a pain when dealing with our manufacturing network.  With the economic downslide, we have seen an increasing number of companies in the manufacturing sector attempt to sneakily cut their costs by incorporating lower quality raw materials into the finished product.

This is exactly what happened with our expected shipment of Morpheus Sunglasses.  We did indeed receive our shipment of these in April, but unfortunately they were rejected because the quality was unacceptable.  Simply put, they were crap and were not appropriate for inclusion into our line of premium Matrix Sunglasses.

So, we filtered through our manufacturing network and decided to move the production of the Morpheus Sunglasses to an alternative manufacturer.  We are confident that this move will produce the quality that we and our customers expect and demand.

The manufacturing process is already in full swing and we expect to have these back in stock in approximately 5 weeks (the end of July).  We apologize for the massive delay, but these things happen from time to time whenever you’re dealing with all aspects of the supply chain.

So there you have it.  Be patient, we WILL have our super high-quality Morpheus Sunglasses back in stock very soon.  If you would like a notification when they are back in stock, just send an email to  orders@matrixeyewear.com and you will be contacted when they are ready for purchase.

In the interim, all of our other high quality Matrix Sunglasses are still available for purchase, such as the Neo Sunglasses, Agent Smith Sunglasses, Trinity Sunglasses, Seraph Sunglasses, and Twins Sunglasses.

Morpheus Sunglasses Will Be Back!

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

As the planet’s premier retailer of killer Matrix Sunglasses like Neo Sunglasses, Agent Smith Sunglasses, and more, we always strive to keep our customers informed.  Therefore, the purpose of this week’s blog post is to let you know that we are currently out of the Morpheus Sunglasses.  We do, however, expect them to be back in stock by the end of April, which at the time of this writing is roughly 4 weeks away.

The problem is that our manufacturer was unable to procure the specific silicon nose pads necessary to manufacture the Morpheus Sunglasses because the supplier of that particular component suddenly went out of business!   Whoever says the economy is improving clearly does not work in the manufacturing sector!

As you probably already know, we aim to use only the highest quality raw materials in our Matrix sunglasses, so it took some time to locate an adequate replacement.  Although our manufacturer has located an alternate supply of the nose pads, the production delay has created a backlog.  In other words, it will take a few weeks for us to catch up.

In the meantime, all of our other high quality Matrix Sunglasses are still in stock, including the Neo Sunglasses, Agent Smith Sunglasses, Trinity Sunglasses, Seraph Sunglasses, and Twins Sunglasses

If you would like to be notified when the Morpheus Sunglasses are back in stock, just send us an email at orders@matrixeyewear.com and you will be contacted when they are available.

So there you have it.  I hope you found this quick update to be useful and informative.  If you have any questions at all about this or any of our Matrix sunglasses, please let us know.

Morpheus Sunglasses: What Sets Ours Apart

Monday, November 16th, 2009

One of our most popular styles of Matrix sunglasses is the Morpheus.  These are a total fan favorite, and there are two primary reasons for this.

The first reason is that Morpheus remains the most popular character in the Matrix trilogy, even more so than Neo.  The Morpheus character is smooth, confident, and ever-knowing.  As the instigator of the revolution, he is the one that fully exudes the confidence and aura of a true leader and hero.  Plus, you’ve got to love the red pill/blue pill “Alice in Wonderland” scene!

The second reason is that our Morpheus sunglasses blow away the competition.  The vast majority of our competition basically sells “costume-jewelry” quality Morpheus sunglasses.  This is fine if you are just looking to dress up for Halloween, but for everyday wear and tear you will definitely need something of substantially higher quality.

Because the Morpheus sunglasses do not have the traditional arms to hold them in place behind the ears, the nose clip is truly the most critical factor.  If the nose clip is low quality, the sunglasses will not stay on your face and obviously that would make them useless.  This is where the vast majority of our competitors get it wrong – they skimp on the nose clip and the result is a poor quality product with limited functionality.

Our Morpheus nose clips are spring-loaded.  This means the clips retain their “hold” ability over time, and can accommodate a wide range of nose shapes and sizes.  In fact, many customers wear their sunglasses for years with no noticeable degradation in the “tightness” of the clip.  Additionally, our nose clips are made from silicon material, not plastic.  This helps ensure that the sunglasses do not slip off your nose, particularly with oily or sweaty skin.

In addition to the nose clip, we have also taken special care to ensure the lenses are top-notch.  The lenses are polycarbonate, scratch resistant, and offer UVA and UVB protection (UV400 Protection), which is the best protection for your eyes.  Here again is another area where the competition falls short, but I guess it is understandable because who cares about eye protection from your Halloween costume shades!

The fact that we offer a full 1-year, no questions asked return policy is proof that we fully stand behind our Morpheus Sunglasses as well as all of our other products.  If our Matrix sunglasses were of low-quality, we would not offer such an unprecedented warranty

So go ahead and give them a try, and amaze your friends with your Morpheus Sunglasses’ ability to magically float on your face!  There is no risk with these or any of our Matrix sunglasses, because you can always return them if you do not like them, if they do not look good on your face, or for any reason at all.
